I never hated W. I thought he was too liberal fiscally and too conservative socially. I would label him an anti-libertarian if there ever was one. But libs hated him. The ground he walked on and the air he breathed seethed with evil according to my liberal brethren.
As bad as liberals hated George W you would think that they would hate Obama too. He, after all, has done nothing but continue and double down on W’s policies.
Let’s see. W did all this Medicare part B, D and prescription coverage, he started two wars and he rammed TARP down our throats on his way out the door.
In comes Obama. He immediately passes another “stimulus” plan, TARP 2 if you will. TARP did NOT help and TARP 2 was just as bad. Doubling down on a bad hand is just two bad hands. If we had let those institutions crumble we would be on the road to recovery by now. Obama said he would close GITMO and did not because he can’t figure out how. We need GITMO as long as we are at war. He then sends more troops to Afghanistan and we are still in Iraq. We have more troops in the Afghanistan than we have ever had there. There you have Barak Hussein Obama Bush.

NAACP to Honor Racist, 911 Truther as 'American Treasure'
The NAACP is completly irrelevant to any intellegent person in this country. Their entire agenda is geared toward keeping minorities at a disadvantage so that they can cannabilize thier own people. That is sickening. Now they want to honor a racist, self avowed communist who touts the benefits of marxism and is a 911 truther. I bundle truthers and birthers in the same heap.

The First of Many
This will not be the last of these incidents. Neither will it be the worst. People in this country are angry as hell at our abusive government. I'm not talking about Obama or Democrats or Republicans. I am talking about the whole bunch. When a man feels he has nothing to loose he becomes very dangerous. As Americans we are being pushed into a corner by a government that could care less about our situations and only see us as hosts for their parasitic binges. They believe that we work for them and that as producers that we "owe it to society" to work harder so that they can spend more on less and less deserving projects.
Working class Americans are The Producers. If they eat us then they will all starve.

The Global Warming House of Cards
Another defection in the man made climate change debate. It is very striking to me that the Earth has endured several ice ages and climate change to the extremes but all of a sudden man is the cause.
In this article the head of the man made climate scam admits that it was very possibly warmer during the medieval times than now and that no notable warming has taken place over the last 15 years.
In debates like this as with anything you observe in life remember these two things:
One: There are NO contradictions. If there ever appears to be a contradiction go back and reexamine your premises. One or more of them is wrong.
Two: Follow the money. When there is no obvious reason for a totally illogical outcome to a reasonable hypothesis look and see who stands to profit and therein you will find the truth.

Oh, Susannah: Weather & Warming
You know? Today's weather in DC and here in good ol' Mobile, Alabama and the political climate surrounding it kinda reminds me of a childhood song we used to sing. Here is a snippet of the Lyrics from Oh Suzanna:
It rained all night
The day I left
The weather it was dry
The sun so hot,
I froze to death
Susanna, don't you cry.
Maybe when Stephen Foster wrote the original lyrics in 1847 maybe he was a weather profit and a political analyst all rolled into one. Where weather is concerned it is hard to tell if we are coming or going.

The Sculpting Competition
This is a great article. Check out Dr Fernando's Site.
http://www.anthonyfernando.com/2008/11/21/103/
Long ago, in a distant land, there lived two sculptors named Seb and Matthias. One day they each received a Royal proclamation inviting them to take part in a sculpting competition to be held at the Royal Gardens.
Both Seb and Matthias were extremely excited by this opportunity and immediately started preparing for the seven day journey.
Seb set out on a bright Monday morning with his chisels and hammers packed in the back of his horse-drawn cart. At the end of his first day of traveling, he made camp in a clearing by the side of the road. After a simple meal, Seb noticed a large rock on the edge of the clearing and decided to get in some practice for the upcoming sculpting competition.
He took out his tools and began to chisel away at the rock. Several hours later, Seb stood back to look at his sculpture. It was a statue of the Princess Rebecca, but while he was reasonably happy with his attempt, Seb realized that the statue’s hands were too big. He made a mental note to be careful of this in the future and went to sleep.
The next morning, Seb continued on his way leaving his statue of Princess Rebecca by the side of the clearing. At the end of his second day, Seb found another rock to practice on and created another sculpture of the Princess. This time he got her hands right but made her legs too short. He made a mental note on how to improve next time and moved on.
Seb continued this pattern throughout his journey. Each night he found a rock to practice on, created a sculpture of Princess Rebecca, made note on how he could improve and then moved on the following morning leaving the sculpture where he created it.
By the time Seb reached the Royal Gardens he had made seven practice sculptures that were each a little bit better than the one before. On the day of the competition, Seb created his best sculpture ever and to his delight, he was awarded the coveted ‘Golden Hammer’ award which was presented by Princess Rebecca herself.
Now you may be wondering what happened to the other sculptor, Matthias, so let me tell you his side of the story…
Matthias also set out on the seven day journey to the Royal Gardens to compete in the sculpting competition. Like Seb, Matthias made camp on the first night and found a large rock to practice on. He too created a statue of the Princess Rebecca but found that he made her feet too big. Matthias was angry at himself for making this mistake and the next morning he heaved the statue onto the back of his cart so that he could study his mistake later.
At the end of his second day of traveling, Matthias found another rock to practice on and created another statue. This time he forgot to include the princesses head dress and he became furious at his mistake. The next morning, he heaved the statue onto the back of his cart and continued slowly on his journey.
Each night Matthias repeated this same pattern. He created a statue, became angry with himself when he made a mistake and then loaded the statue onto his cart before moving on.
On the seventh day, Matthias woke up early and prepared for the final leg of his journey, but when he prompted his horse to get underway, the poor animal strained at his harness but could not move an inch. Matthias jumped down from his seat and went to the back of his cart.
There he found all seven practice statues of the Princess Rebecca which were weighing the cart down and making it impossible to move. Matthias complained bitterly as he looked over the statues in detail – too big, too short, too tall…the list of mistakes went on and on. The unhappy sculptor sat down on a tree stump and continued to stare at his statues for hours, and as a result, he never made it to the Royal Gardens to compete in the competition.
This simple story illustrates an important lesson that can often be the difference between success and failure. The statues in the story represent the mistakes that we all make in life. The difference between Seb and Matthias was the way in which they responded to their mistakes.
When Seb made a practice statue he made a mental note of any problems and then he left his mistake where he made it and continued on his journey. As a result, he gradually developed his skills and eventually achieved his ultimate objective.
Matthias on the other hand approached his mistakes in a different fashion. Each time he made a statue, he loaded it onto his cart and took it with him. Each day his cart became heavier and heavier until eventually it would not move at all. Instead of leaving his mistakes where he made them, Matthias carried the weight of his mistakes with him and the weight of these past mistakes eventually prevented him from reaching his real objective.
On your journey to success, understand that you too will make mistakes. Some small, some big. Each time you make a mistake you have a choice. You can either learn from your mistake and move on like Seb, or you can carry your mistake with you like Matthias.
The danger in harboring regret and continually analyzing your past mistakes is that, like Matthias, you can eventually get stuck and can jeopardize the achievements that are waiting for you in your future.
Today I’d like to encourage you to reflect on the story of Seb and Matthias and make the decision to leave your mistakes where you make them. In this way, you’ll be able to learn from your mistakes but will still be able to move forward to achieve your ultimate objective.
Until Next Time,

Racial and Social Slurs on a Hippopotamus
I am appalled by this article. The insensitive and racial overtones just make me sick in this post-racial era. I can't believe that they had to mention the country this was in and had the word "negro" in the end of it. I mean Montenegro is obviously some sort of racial slur against the inhabitants of that nation.
Then there is the issue of calling this animal a "hippo!" I mean PLEASE! What are they thinking? I am sure that every caloricly challenged person who reads this is filled with self loathing by reading this insensitive nickname just because the hippopotamus happens to be large.
Then there is a metaphor of slavery and abuse. No one in the article mentions the animal's obviously heroic rise form the bounds of her cage to freedom. All they can do is try to keep her down. Those sexist, slave-mongering fiends.
One day in this country we will transcend all of this foolishness. Until then I remain faithfully wounded to the soul by the slings and arrows of our insensitive world.

Three Observations About Reid's Gaffe
FOXNews.com - Cornyn, Steele Call on Reid to Resign as Senate Leader After Obama 'Negro' Comment
There are a few things worth noting about all of this who-hah about Reid's gaffe.
Number One: Every single thing Reid said about Obama was 100% true and not one iota of it was derogatory in any manner. Political correctness is wrecking this country. It has become so extreme that you are not even allowed to notice the differences in our many diverse races in this country...
Number Two: Saying Trent Lott resigned so Reid should is silly. Trent Lott should not have resigned. He should have told them to take their thin skins and go to hell.
Number Three: The GoP is blowing it here. Reid has a snow ball's chance in hell of being re-elected. Leave him in office so he can loose. A new Dem in NV may have a chance to beat the GoP candidate.
As far as political correctness goes... If you are grievously injured by words from another person you are a chump. What ever happened to the adage "stick and stones?" This bunch of pantie waste that we have running around being victims need to remember one thing. Being offended is a choice. Nothing more nothing less.

Polar ice may vanish in 5-7 years
Gore: Polar ice may vanish in 5-7 years - Yahoo! News
It amazes me that this liar is still spouting his total fabrications unchecked. Polar ice is thicker than it has ever been...
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091214/ap_on_sc/climate_gore
"It is hard to capture the astonishment that the experts in the science of ice felt when they saw this," said former U.S. Vice President Gore, who joined Scandinavian officials and scientists to brief journalists and delegates. It was Gore's first appearance at the two-week conference.
http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/04/09/wuwt-ice-survey-shows-thickening-arctic-ice/
The data is collected from the US military web site http://imb.crrel.usace.army.mil. All of the active military buoys show significant thickening ice over the past six months to a year, as seen below.
http://www.greenhousetruth.com/blog/2007_11_6_ice.shtml
In contrast to the Arctic, the extent of sea ice in the Antarctic has come close this year to breaking its satellite-monitored record for maximum area of 16.03 million sq km.
It's funny how these things get lost in the fine-print. The media, although in virtual obscurity, did concede that Antarctic ice is thickening. But what's also disturbing is how many in the counter-climate-change-crowd have been guilty of not looking at the whole story either.

House Passes Broad Wall Street Regulatory Overhaul
FOXNews.com - House Passes Broad Wall Street Regulatory Overhaul
This is terrifying. Our government is trying to pass legislation to allow them to take over any business they want. We have got to stop this madness. This is totally outside the scope of the constitution. The federal government has no authority to take over private businesses. They had no authority to do what they did to GM and Chrysler and now the banking industry is next.
We are getting close to the time when we have to tell our government no. No! The further we let it slide toward the abyss the harder it's going to be to stop it. If they think a million people protesting in DC this passed summer was bad they need to remember that all they had were signs last time. We The People are in charge. We need to remind them.
In this piece of legislation no GoP voted for it and even the Dems couldn't get all of theirs to vote for it. We have to stop this before it escalates to something that cannot be solved in a peaceful manner.

UN talks: Rich nations must make big emission cuts - Yahoo! News
The very idea that you must consider whether a nation is 'wealthy' or not tells the whole tale on this issue. This is about fleecing the Western world in order to finance the world socialist agenda.
"COPENHAGEN – Wealthy nations would commit to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the next decade, and the world should strive to nearly eliminate them — or at least cut them in half — by 2050 under a draft text circulated Friday at the U.N. climate talks."

Liberal Group Puts Bounty on Head of Chamber of Commerce CEO
This is a typical liberal response. Do you remember when liberal meant open minded and above all liberated? Progressive used to refer to motion in a positive direction as well and now it just means socialist.
You are invited to be open minded as long as your open mind agrees with their views. The very idea that The Chamber of Commerce has been black balled by the Obama administration from all jobs creation talks is absurd. They represent more businesses than any other organization in the country.
The administration is not personally asking for mud on this guy but you can bet they will follow up on any overturned dirt. If you and your company are not members of The Chamber of Commerce please join now and make sure to let them know that it is in support of their common sense opposition to the economy and job killing efforts of Obamacare and Cap and Tax.

The important thing to remember here is that none of the people in charge of this thing believe they should be subject to the rules. Winter Weather Advisory
A Severe Winter Weather Advisory has been issued. The catastrophic nature of the collision of these forces may well create the perfect storm. The perfect ice storm that is.
A Crimson Tide has swelled so high in Atlanta, GA. that the runnoff has very nearly destroyed Florida. Gainsville Florida was completely devastated.
The confluence of this event with the freezing over of Hell, set upon by the amazing victories of the New Orleans Saints, could cause an ice cap that would first flood and the freeze the entire sporting world.
The Tide is still rising and the frost machines are still blowing into Hell directly from New Orleans. Hold on to your parkas and sleds. January is going to be a hell of a ride.

Smart Economic Stimulus
This bill would be less than 100 pages long and would create a boom in The US economy like we have never seen. Allowing men to use their minds to create wealth and jobs will work much quicker than growing the government.
This would also put the rest of the world on notice that we are no longer the United States of Charity. We would no longer be the big bad pushy US any more either. We wont bother you if you don’t bother us.
Term Limits, Two terms in The House and two in The Senate.
Reduce The House of Representatives to 235 from 435 members.
Return Congress to the concept of a part time job. Meeting once every quarter to see if any legislation is needed. We have enough laws already.
Abolish all income-based taxes.
Raise the age to receive medicare/caid and SSI to 68.
Abolish the IRS, ATF, NEA and about forty other government agencies that are outdated and pointless.
Cut funding of the United Nations by 75%.
Bring our troops home as soon as possible. No more world police force that is what NATO is for.
Reinstate the draft. Everyone goes, no exceptions other than severe handicap. One year Active Duty and five years reserve or guard after that.
Pass a five percent federal sales tax that can NEVER be raised. No exemptions for anything of any kind other than food.
Create a federal lottery
Ban all taxes on food.
Ban all public funding for non-emergency services to illegal aliens.
Deport every felon that is here illegally.
Decriminalize marijuana.
Drill baby drill. ANWR, the outer shelf or anywhere there is oil or natural gas.

These guys at the CRU are the honchos of Climate Change. They freely admit that the data has to be massaged and homogenized (adjust numbers and throw contrary data) in order to prove that the Earth is warming.
Here we start out with a guess that the Earth may actually be warming when most scientists think that it is actually cooling. Over the last 50 years the temperature has fallen about a half a degree. We have actual records of that not hypothesis.
Even though we are not even sure that there is a global warming or a global cooling going on we have decided that we know what is causing it… err, the warming I mean. Never mind that we’re not sure it is going on.
The part of the Earth that we inhabit and have an effect on is more like the shell of an egg. Humans are minuscule in their occupation of the Earth and effect on it. The truth is that the Earth warms and cools in a gentle cycle and has for millions of years. Ice ages have come and gone and will probably come again before warming occurs and the truth is that we as humans can’t do anything about it. We will cool over the next thirty years not warm according to most science on the subject.
The important thing to remember here is that any time you see what appears to be a contradiction you have to reassess your premise. When the premise conflicts with the actual outcome… Follow the money. The burden of proof should always be on the side of the objective. I cannot prove that there is no man made global warming and the truth is that no one can prove that there is.
Call your congressman and demand that they vote against any laws promoting Cap and Tax.

Positive Change
Change can be good as long as you have a good idea what is broken and how the change will fix it.
All too often we confuse motion with progress. A great example of this is the mantra of the current health care reform debate. The premise that health care has to be reformed is built upon by saying that it has to be the government that changes it. Then the argument is presented with the new premise that health care must be reformed by adding bureaucracy and if you don't agree with that then you must not want anything to happen and therefore you are evil, want children to die and probably kick puppies when no one is looking.
Any time you start with a bad premise you have a weak and most of the time unsupportable argument. Change is only good if it improves a process. As any good lawyer will tell you, you never ask a question that you don't know the answer to. The same can be said of changing our system of health care. You only change it to something that you know will improve the process so in this case I say no change is better than a change in the direction of the current plans in Washington.
Here are some simple steps that will cost the tax payers nothing:
Tort Reform.
Sell Insurance across State lines to increase competition.
Multiply tax credits for business that provide insurance to workers.
Remove quotas from medical schools to increase the number of doctors. An increase in the supply of doctors will lower the cost by increasing competition.
Push the Medicare/caid and Social Security eligibility age up by five years.
Ban all publicly funded medical care for non-emergency treatment of illegal aliens.
Allow for the creation of non-business related insurance groups and provide tax credits for individuals or groups who buy personal insurance for themselves or relatives and friends.
Not a single one of these line items costs tax payers a penny that they do not volunteer. These are simple to implement and would be a good start. The bill would be about 20 pages long and everyone could read it before they vote on it.

White House Takes Aim at Critics of New Breast Cancer Guidelines
White House Takes Aim at Critics of New Breast Cancer Guidelines - FOXNews.com
The USPSTF, which reports to the Department of Health and Human Services, released its updated 2009 guidelines on Monday. It recommended against routine screening of women aged 40 to 49 years -- despite acknowledging evidence in the report that mammograms have reduced the mortality rate in younger women.
The task force advises that women aged 50 to 74 receive mammograms every other year and recommends against teaching breast self-examinations. The task force recommended in 2002 that all women over 40 should undergo a mammography every one to two years.
The panel says the recommendations apply to women 40 years or older "who are not at increased risk for breast cancer by virtue of a known underlying genetic mutation or a history of chest radiation."
In response, the American Cancer Society issued a statement Tuesday saying it still recommends annual mammograms for women 40 and over.
"Our experts make this recommendation having reviewed virtually all the same data reviewed by the USPSTF, but also additional data that the USPSTF did not consider," ACS said. "The USPSTF says that screening 1,339 women in their 50s to save one life makes screening worthwhile in that age group. Yet USPSTF also says screening 1,904 women ages 40 to 49 in order to save one life is not worthwhile. ... With its new recommendations, the USPSTF is essentially telling women that mammography at age 40 to 49 saves lives; just not enough of them."

Healthcare: Not yet.
Civil Rights: The Civil Rights Act was voted on during a GoP majority having a much higher percent of GoP voting for it than Dems. Kennedy voted for it. Kudos.
Change: Never confuse motion with progress. Nearly every appointee he has worked for Bill Clinton. Not much of a change.
SCHIP: A ridiculous piece of legislation that provides free health insurance to children in families with incomes up to $80k who are eligible for group insurance at work.
COBRA: The MOST expensive health care available anywhere.
OSHA: Ok, a good one. Kudos.
FEC: Never mind.
Title IX. A piece of legislation that’s states that a school must spend the same amount per female as male student. Never mind that in the NCAA a team make make $100 million on say… Football.
Minimum Wage: The most destructive law ever written as far as unemployment goes. Every time it goes up, so does unemployment.
Voting Rights: Kudos
WIC: No idea what that is.
WORK: All hail the labor unions who single handedly destroyed all US paper mills and the US Auto Industry.
Fair Housing: Great Idea, Kudos.
Immigration Reform: My ass.
Mental Health Parity Act: I probably need to take advantage of this program.
Education: Oh yes. The destruction of the greatest education system on the planet by giving the education union priority over the student’s needs.Progress: I’m guessing this is the same progress used in the word “Progressive” which means slow movement toward a thinly veiled socialist agenda. No wonder I disn’t care for him.
